ctrlX DRIVE

Bosch Rexroth has developed the most compact modular drive system in the world for its customers with ctrlX DRIVE. Apart from space-saving dimensions and maximum scalability, ctrlX DRIVE boasts advantages such as virtually unlimited combination options for users, sophisticated engineering tools, and high energy efficiency.

ctrlX DRIVE DC/DC converter

The DC/DC converters from the drive portfolio ctrlX DRIVE are supplied with DC voltage and generate variable DC voltage at the output. The units can be operated in both voltage-controlled and current-controlled manners. Supply and regenerative modes are also possible. There are unit types with different powers and different interfaces available for the application-specific use of the DC/DC converter. The following are typical fields of application:

ctrlX DRIVE software

ctrlX WORKS, the practical software and engineering toolbox from ctrlX AUTOMATION, stands for simple engineering and significantly reduces effort and costs. Completely new scope for action is opened up in the creation, provision and use of functions. ctrlX WORKS already contains an extensive range of high-performance libraries and components for typical automation tasks. For the user, this offers maximum flexibility through a comprehensive range of software and programming tools. The ctrlX App Store and the ctrlX AUTOMATION Community complete the services for engineering and programming.

Synchronous Servo Motors

Compact synchronous servo motors meet all requirements from standard applications to high-end applications. The innovative single-cable connection technology of the synchronous servo motors simplifies installation. Fine resolution encoder systems and an outstanding radial runout ensure consistently high machining quality. ATEX-certified servo motors for areas with explosion hazard and direct drives round off the motor range.

2AD

The 2AD series consists of asynchronous housing motors with short-circuit rotor and surface ventilation by permanently connected fan units. For the perfect adaptation of the motor to the machine, different sizes with practically tested options can be selected from the type code as well as external accessories. For the perfect adaptation of the motor to the machine, different sizes with practically tested options can be selected from the type code as well as external accessories. In connection with the digital controllers of the DIAX or ECODRIVE series, intelligent drive solutions with high power density and open functionality result.

MBT Synchronous Torque Motors

The torque motors are water-cooled kit motors that have been optimized for high torques of up to 13,800 Nm. They consist of a stator (MST) with three-phase winding and a rotor (MRT) with permanent magnets. Typical areas of operation for these motors are direct drives, such as in rotary tables, swivel axes of machining centers or print works. But they also open up new solutions for innovative mechanical engineering when used in robots, lathes, and plastic, woodworking, and special machines. The “cooling jacket” option for MST stators comprises a cooling jacket with closed cooling circuit, a mounting flange, and an electric connection via terminal box or plug.

ctrlX CORE

The industrial-grade and long-term available ctrlX CORE control platform has a broad range of applications and can e.g. be used in PLC applications in the general mechanical engineering market via motion applications for simple handling tasks and as pure open and industrial-grade control platform for customer-specific expertise.

IndraControl CML

The modular CML control platform in DIN rail format is available for a variety of PLC, Motion Logic and CNC applications. Optional function modules for communication, technology and safety extend the options for integration. Direct side-by-side arrangement of Inline I/O modules or the integration of decentralized I/O stations via fieldbus facilitate I/O integration.

IndraControl XM

The compact control platform XM is available for a variety of Motion Logic applications. The local connection of the S20 I/O modules extends the control flexibly for high-performance process connection. Decentralized I/O stations can be easily integrated via a number of fieldbus couplers. Optional extension modules open up further functions. The robust design simplifies handling and allows for a wide range of applications.
